John is kept busy maintaining the 150+ year old lodge and is the cook in the cafe'. Barbara spends her time running the day to day operations at the lodge, cafe' and country store on the premises. We both spend a great deal of time finding new ways to make  our guests feel comfortable and at home. Our spare time is spent exploring the wonderful heritage and sights in Potter County.

   We're here to serve you, making your stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible. Enjoy a stroll to the pond to feed the fish, sit on the front porch to read a book in the quiet of Carter Camp, gather around the wood stove on a cold winter night after Snowmobiling, do some stargazing at Cherry Springs, fish in Pine or Kettle Creek or hunt in the PA State Forest. What ever it is you enjoy doing; sit back, relax and leave the worries to us.
